Work closely with Communications Directors to support strategic priorities of the business; support larger team in implementing a holistic approach to communications and work to connect dots between internal, external, and social media

Research and closely monitor relevant news topics, generate media lists, draft pitches, build relationships with mainstream and trade reporters to help secure and facilitate impactful media opportunities for Tax leaders

Help develop social media campaigns, manage social media profiles for Tax leadership team, including developing new ways to drive engagement

Execute on employee engagement campaigns; draft and disseminate leadership communications; own the creation of primary communication channel for Tax business

Embrace new technologies, including using gen AI, to create efficiencies and streamline processes to enhance client deliverables

Apply rigorous attention to research and metrics, embedding insights and trends into communications tactics

Qualifications:

Minimum three years of recent experience working in Communications and preferably a related profession; agency experience a plus

Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, business or related field from an accredited college/university

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofing skills, as well as experience in communications program development

Strong technical aptitude; proficiency with social media platforms, Excel, communications measurement tools and internal/external communications channels (Newswire services, media databases, and more)

Deep understanding of social and digital communications tactics; ability to thrive and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Successful track record as a collaborator, multi-tasker, critical thinker and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment
