The Machine Technician will be responsible for keeping the production output optimized by maintaining seamless functioning of all screen-printing equipment/machinery
An individual in this role will be required to set up, adjust, and maintain machinery to very close tolerances
Qualifications:
-Applicants must understand and speak English fluently and be eligible to work in the United States
-Strong Knowledge of the Screen-Printing Industry
-Strong troubleshooting skills
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Must be capable of working independently
-Ability to handle highly stressful situations and thrive under pressure
-2 or more years of experience working in a Machine Technician role
-Reference for expertise will be required
-Ability to lift 50 lbs without any assistance
-You MUST know how to fix the M & R Machine.
-Ability to stand/move most of the day and handle multiple things at once
-Performs a full range of service, troubleshooting, and repair procedures including Inspection, cleaning, lubricating, diagnostics, installation of equipment/accessories/parts/components, installing retrofits and modifications, repairs and/or replaces defective or worn parts as necessary to resolve reported or expected problems
-Perform timely preventative maintenance and inspections on machines/equipment/parts
-Operates presses and computer-to-plate systems, repairs printing presses and bindery equipment, and provides training on the operation of presses
-Completes technical training on new equipment
-Operates machines to test their performance
-Initiates orders for parts required for the repair of equipment
-Accurately reports daily activity and service call information
-Effectively executes all required territory management and call-handling procedures
-Exhibits professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Starting at $16 an hour (depending on experience)
