Job Description:

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring efficient operation of the practice. You will assist during procedures, perform chairside duties, maintain patient records, and uphold infection control protocols. Additionally, you will help educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.

Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures and sterilize instruments

Assist dentists during examinations and treatments

Take and develop dental x-rays

Provide chairside support to dentists during procedures

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

Perform administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role preferred

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

X-ray certification preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work well in a team environment

Attention to detail and commitment to patient care

Hours are: Monday-Thursday from 8am to 5pm with occasional Fridays.
