Hatsuhana Hawaii is a Japanese restaurant established in the Hilton Hawaiian Village in 1983.
We are seeking a Sushi Chef and Sushi Helper to join our team (part-time or full time)
SUSHI CHEF ($26plus tips) : Responsibilities:
-Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
-Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
-Check freshness and quality of ingredients
-Assist in the development of menu items
-Standardize recipes and plate presentations
-Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
-Shikomi (sushi preparation), sushi rice, sushi roll, sushi Nigiri, and sashimi
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in sushi chef
-Knowledge of Shikomi (sushi preparation) including tamagiyaki, sushi rice, sushi roll, sushi Nigiri, and sashimi
-Knowledge of cost and labor systems
-Passion for food and cooking techniques
-Strong leadership qualities
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
SUSHI HELPER ($17 or $18 plus tips) : Responsibilities:
-Assist Sushi chef
-Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
-Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
-Check freshness and quality of ingredients
-Standardize recipes and plate presentations
-Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
-Shikomi (sushi preparation), sushi rice and sushi roll
PART TIME(2-3 days) or FULL TIME
