Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Actively seeking a talented and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing exceptional care to a geriatric population.

THE POSITION

Location: Assisted Living Community in Suffolk, Long Island, NY

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and provide psychological interventions for an elderly population

Facilitate group psychotherapy sessions

Offer individual psychotherapy

Conduct family psychotherapy sessions

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule: Part-Time (2 days per week: Tuesdays and Thursdays, daytime hours)

Compensation: $50/hr

Qualifications & Competencies

Must be a Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Available to work 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), daytime hours

Must have or be willing to obtain professional liability insurance

Must possess a Medicare provider number

Comfortable working with senior citizens in senior living communities

Required to use electronic health records system (training provided)

Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Possesses qualities of collaboration, compassion, and adaptability
