Office Assistant/ Scheduler - Work from Home

Job title: Office Assistant/ Scheduler

Opportunity for a work-from-home office position for a local business in Arkansas who serves several thousand clients per year. Please attach a resume and cover letter if you live in Arkansas. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wed, Thurs, Friday 8am-5pm (we may flex some days from 10 am to 7pm).

1 hour lunch and breaks

Responsibilities:

Speak with customers over the phone to schedule, remind, and follow up on appointments

email or mail reminders to customers or clients when appropriate

Add, cancel, or make changes to appointments in the organization's schedule

Record new client intake, including the completion and filing of all necessary records

Resolve appointment conflicts for staff and customers or clients

Schedule staff coverage to ensure the company's best operations standards

Produce and process schedules and reports as they are requested by administrative staff, customers, or clients

Qualifications:

Prior experience in the following: scheduling, customer contact via phone, email etiquette.

General math skills and experience working Microsoft outlook, excel, canvas

Computer competency for data entry and the production of reports and modification of schedules

Excellent communication skills in customer service and experience working as a company team member

Ability to fulfill the company's standards and values when performing scheduling tasks

Display kindness and be open to providing scheduling accommodations to customers, clients, or staff

Have an eye for detail and excellent reading/writing skills.

Ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly

We provide computer and phone (which are for work only). If phone rings it’s a must answer, if its off hours, then you call to the person on duty or boss and relay the message.

Be overly responsible, never leave a customer hanging is the name of the game.

You will need a quite work space, and high-speed internet.

Please no barking dogs, kids, noisy roommates, noisy café or coffee shop. By working at home, you have the freedom of no commute, no gas, no car (which is your choice). Pay is minimum wage for 40 hours per week.

Being able to ask for help, be able to call your team mates and brainstorm customers issues.
