Warehouse lead and backup driver

Warehouse Lead:

We are a packaging distributor and material converting company looking for a warehouse lead to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in High Point, NC and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of our products. You will be responsible for leading the warehouse team, maintaining operational and inventory records, coordinating with customer service and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

As a warehouse lead, you should have demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Lead and train warehouse staff on best practices and procedures

Monitor and manage inventory levels and transactions

Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of goods

Coordinate with customer service for any customer or vendor concerns

Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

Enforce warehouse policies and regulations

Report and analyze warehouse performance and metrics

Identify and implement improvements and innovations

Supervise drivers to ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed

Manage box truck and warehouse power equipment maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role

Knowledge of warehouse software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)

Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Strong organizational and time management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Teamwork and collaboration skills

Experience operating a 26-foot box truck

Clear driving record
