Operations & Equipment Maintenance Technician

2 Towns is seeking an experienced Operations and Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving mechanical and electrical equipment and robotic systems in a manufacturing environment, emphasizing employee safety as the top priority.

Job duties include:

-Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot all equipment as scheduled, ensuring records of such maintenance are kept and communicated to supervisors

-Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic systems

-Lubricate and clean robotic components to prevent wear and tear

-Replace worn-out parts and update robotic software as needed

-Troubleshoot robotic mechanical and software issues

-Diagnose, repair, and overhaul process pumps, automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, basic electrical AC/DC troubleshooting, and related systems

-Diagnose and repair all machinery and process malfunctions, including mechanical troubleshooting & electrical troubleshooting

-Diagnose and repair all mechanical power transmission equipment using knowledge of gearboxes, mechanical drives, and variable speed application

-Maintain Equipment Maintenance Calendar on Google Drive, including noting the type of maintenance performed, as well as when it is performed

-Consult with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate with outside contractors to perform activities, repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment.

Required Qualifications:

-21 years or older

-Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

-Three or more years of industrial maintenance, packaging, light industrial work, or other relevant experience

-Valid Oregon Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

-Able to lift 50 lbs by hand, as well as lift and move 160 lbs using assistive devices such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts

-Able to kneel and stoop regularly

Work Schedule: This position works a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 work schedule. This rotating shift pattern is designed to provide continuous coverage while also allowing significant blocks of time off. Under this system, team members work two days, followed by 2 days off, followed by a three-day work period. This cycle alternates each week, ensuring that no one works excessive days in a row and that weekends off rotate fairly. For example, one week, a team member might work Monday and Tuesday, have Wednesday and Thursday off, and then work Friday through Sunday. The next week, this pattern flips, providing a balanced approach to work and personal time, ideal for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Wage Range - $19.00 - $25.00 / Hour (DOE)
