Starry Night Cafe | FOH Manager

Starry Night Cafe, located between Middlebury and Burlington, is looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to add to our team as the Front of House Manager! This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including opening and closing the restaurant, handling reservations, and overseeing the FOH staff. Position Specifics:

Title: Front of House Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Starting salary: $56,000 + $1000 sign on bonus

Schedule: 40 hours, Wednesday - Sunday (we do our last seating at 8pm so no super late nights!)

We are a tight-knit team looking to grow! Daily responsibilities of this position include overseeing dinner service and FOH staff, handling voicemails and reservation inquiries, reprinting menus, and assisting the team where needed. Clear communication between the FOH and BOH is extremely important to us so someone looking to collaborate with the rest of the staff is a must.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-1-2 years previous management experience preferred

-3-5 years previous restaurant experience required
