Shipping and Receiving Office Agent
CORPORATE INTERIOR SOLUTIONS is a well-established, full service Commercial Furniture Installation Company with multiple locations in Northern California and Seattle Washington and looking to expand our services and locations and with a Mission to continue to lead the Market in providing Excellence Quality and direct solutions to our clients.
We are currently seeking a self-starter, with good communication and organization skills that is very detail oriented to join our organization in our shipping and receiving department.
The position is a full time and immediate position.
The following represents a general description of the essential duties and responsibilities:
JOB DUTIES:
Answer phones, Excellent phone skills
Data Entry Skills, typing 35+ wpm, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Customer Service, Excellent verbal, written and web based communication required
Organize and manage product paperwork
Understand, sort and manipulate shipping and distribution lists in excel
Ensure accurate execution of all shipments
Able to understand and utilize current shipping operating systems
Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operation
Work in conjunction with all Company Departments to share and obtain information
Coordinate receipt and movement of inventory between warehouse an operations
Receive incoming materials and product into data base.
Count items received and check against packing lists and note any discrepancies and or damages
Register incoming material accurately in the computer inventory management system.
Monitor and direct the movement of product to ensure that all internal, external customer needs are met.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
This individual must be able to respectfully work with co-workers and clients as well.
Must be interested in being a part of a highly interactive team.
Must be able to multitask and work in a highly demanding time critical environment.
Must be organized and highly accurate in completing tasks. Time management is essential.
Perform additional admin duties as required and or requested.
Experience in Shipping and Receiving a plus, but not required.
High School Diploma or GED
Basic Math Skills
Must have 1 -2 years' customer service, Billing and clerical experience a plus
Must have own transportation and or be on time.
