small engine Part Changer/Mechanic for scooter shop

We are looking for a Part Changer/Mechanic to maintain and repair scooters and off-road vehicles. We do remove and replace parts, we do not open or rebuild engines. Must have familiarity with different tool types as well as follow all safety precautions.

Responsibilities

-Oil changes

-Clutch & belt replacements

-Prep new units

-Tire changes

-Perform maintenance (oil change, air filter replacement, spark pug replacement)

-Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner

-Be a team player (e.g. assembly of new units, load and unload vehicles, unload shipments.)

Skills

-Very good communication skills

-A problem-solving ability

-Very good physical strength and stamina

-High school diploma is preferred

-Valid DL with motorcycle endorsement or willing to get endorsement within 90 days required.

-Knowledge of forklift operation

-Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision

-Punctuality & reliability

-Computer knowledge

-English Speaking
