Preschool in the Village is seeking a Lead Teacher for the next school year to share mornings with a class of 4-year-olds. If you are a teaching professional looking to make a positive change in the lives of young children, consider joining our dedicated staff!
This Lead Teacher and an associate will engage children in activities that support emerging skills and will foster social/emotional development through the use of positive guidance. They are responsible for curriculum planning and preparation, classroom management, and professional communication with parents.
PIV is a non-profit early learning center that offers half-day programs and speech/language therapy for children ages 2 to 5 years old during the school year, September-June. PIV has supported young children and their families since 1996. (www.preschoolinthevillage.org)
Interested candidates must have 18 college credits in early childhood or elementary education, and at least 2 years of experience leading a classroom, after school program, summer camp, or daycare setting. Please respond with a cover letter and detailed resume.
