Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Here, what you do matters.Job Overview:The Associate Estimator utilizes existing estimating procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to estimating and Project Controls. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Attend pre-estimate meetings with project managers and business line management to plan bid strategy and ascertain methods of performance based on the scope of work
Assist in preparing detailed estimates of the scope of work, perform quantity take-offs, and determine workforce, equipment requirements, material items, and subcontractors
Assist with conducting bid reviews with the Manager of Estimating, Project Manager, and business line management to finalize bids, markups, and strategies
Assist with coordinating with project management to review bid strategy and assist in project buy-out
Assist in obtaining firm quotes for material suppliers, equipment, and subcontractors
Will have the opportunity to work with Senior Staff
Work is subject to review by others

Develop knowledge and skills in basic practices and procedures within their area
Apply basic technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work
Respond to standard requests from internal or external customers
Solve routine problems by following defined procedures
Manage own time to meet deadlines set by others
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a plus
0-2 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas & Energy industry
Ability to work in teams or as an individual
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Develop competence in own area by performing routine work
Manage own time to meet agreed targets; develop plans for short-term work activities in own area
