Description We are in the process of recruiting a DevOps Engineer based in Los Angeles, California. The role involves the design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and is part of our dynamic tech industry environment. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Design and develop APIs for Omni-channel clients. Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support. Implement, maintain, and update CI/CD pipelines on a cloud environment. Work collaboratively with business partners, architects, and other teams to identify the technical and functional needs of systems. Write high-quality code with a focus on automated testing and validation. Research, influence, and implement vendor dependencies to streamline the architecture. Collaborate with multiple, enterprise-wide distributed performing teams to deliver new capabilities in business applications. Leverage skills in Operations, Compliance, Research, Database Design, Benefit Functions, Engineering, JavaScript, SQL, Agile Scrum, Python, Cloud Technologies, Monitoring Tool, Java, Quality Assurance, Component Selection, Law Regulation, CSS, GitHub, Web App, Sprint Framework, Methodology, Framework, Deployments, and Microsoft Azure. Requirements Proficiency in DevOps engineering and related methodologies. Demonstrated experience in operations and compliance monitoring. Proven ability to conduct research and database management. Strong knowledge of software design and benefit functions. Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, Python, Java, CSS, and using GitHub. Proficiency in Agile Scrum, Sprint Framework, and other methodologies. Experience with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure. Experience with monitoring tools for system health and performance checks. Understanding of quality assurance, component selection, and law regulation. Experience in designing, developing, and managing web applications. Familiarity with various software frameworks and deployment strategies. Ability to contribute to all phases of software development. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
