Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Community Based Services and/or Director of Production and Community Based Services, and in cooperation with the Program Specialist, the Small Group Employment Supervisor will provide training in specific community-based jobs for the purpose of improving individual performance.Note: This position could be assigned to any small group employment location and the specific small group employment tasks may vary. They could be at specific sites, or on an outside task - i.e. lawn crew, janitorial crew, activity aide, etc. This location will mainly provide Document Shredding Services and Commercial Cleaning Services.RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting/training clients in gaining skills so that they can enhance competitive employment opportunities.

Working with the clients on appropriate work habits and attitudes as outlined in the client's program plan.

Organizing a schedule and/or system of production to ensure that all work is performed as required.

Ensuring that work is performed consistent with policies or instructions.

Ensuring that production activities are performed in a satisfactory manner, consistent with job or activity guidelines and in a scheduled manner to meet production and quality needs of the customer.

Ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner so that it can be further processed as necessary. This includes, for example, charts, outcome sheets, attendance sheets, any back up sheets, truck slips and inventory information.

Completing all electronic charting timely.

Monitoring work crews.

Client discipline at the department level.

Making sure all safety policies and procedures are adhered to and will wear safety equipment as appropriate and insure that proper protective equipment is worn by trainees as well.

Making sure that all trainees are dressed appropriately for job specifics and weather.

Will follow all applicable program regulations including, but not limited to 2390 requirements, monitoring, worker's compensation, etc.

GENERAL DUTIES

May be required to drive Workshop van to transport individuals to specific locations and/or to make pick-ups and deliveries as necessary or directed.

May be required to load and/or unload trucks by hand or with the use of pallet jacks.

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Job also requires bending, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling.

Will participate in training activities as directed including review of all ISPs of individuals involved and required annual 24 hours of training.

Will attend meetings as required.

All other duties as required.

Supervised by: Director of Productions and Community Base Services and Assistant Director of Community Based Services.QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or equivalent.

Two years of full-time paid work experience in production activities or combination of education and experience.

Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Must have a Class C - Standard Drivers License.

Must be able to tow a trailer loaded with equipment.

May be required to operate a zero-turn mower, push mower, and other lawn equipment including trimmers.

Must be willing and able to perform these outdoor activities in all types of weather.

Must participate in Drug and Alcohol program including pre-employment testing.

Must have criminal clearances.

Must have a valid PA Driver's license (per agency insurance guidelines, driver must have two years driving experience and be age 21 or older).

Must meet agency guidelines with regards to motor vehicle records.

Must meet agency guidelines with regard to personal policies including, appropriate dress, cell phone use and other established procedures.
