Dispatcher for trucking

Role Description:

This is a full-time role for a Trucking Dispatcher at Brother Grimm Inc. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our trucking fleet. This includes acquiring coordinating and scheduling loads, dispatching drivers, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery. The Trucking Dispatcher will also communicate with customers, freight brokers and drivers, resolve any issues that arise during transportation, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and drivers.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatch activities.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.

Experience in dispatching or logistics coordination

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in using transportation management systems

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance

Collaborate with other team members to optimize operational efficiency

High school diploma or equivalent
