We are a small woman owned property management company on Capitol Hill looking for an Administrative Assistant and Personal Assistant to the owner.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Office Management:
Managing accounts payable
Organize physical and electronic files
Filing and scanning documents
Running errands
Ordering supplies
Answering phone and emails
Payroll (ADP Run)
Manage employee IRA plan and contributions
Credit card reconciliation
Property Management and Tenant Relations
Posting rental properties on Craigslist
Showing commercial spaces to potential tenants
Process rental applications
Prepare and execute tenant leases
Interaction with tenants and neighbors, be “the face” of the business
Scheduling property maintenance
Managing one Airbnb including monitoring inquiries and messages
Coordination of special projects as needed
Personal Assistance to the owner:
Keep travel spreadsheets current and monitor bookings for changes
Help manage calendar
Track pet medicine supply and order refills
Track returns
These job responsibilities vary due to the flexible nature of the job environment. Applicants should be prepared to accept new responsibilities.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years’ experience and/or a 4 year college degree
Trustworthy/experience with managing confidential information
Punctual
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Highly organized and VERY detail oriented
Knowledge of Google Docs, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) scanning, and other basic office skills
Able to lift and carry 20+ lbs
A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Local to Capitol Hill a plus, must have familiarity with the neighborhood
Interest or experience in the construction, maintenance and or property management is a HUGE plus!
Must be creative, friendly and willing to learn
Love of animals (cats and dogs) another HUGE plus
The position is 25 hours per week (M-F 12-5pm) with additional morning/evening flextime hours as needed for special projects and meetings.
Compensation: $24-$25/hour to start, increase to $28 with successful 90-day review, PTO, eligible for IRA after 90 days.
