Fire Alarm Technician - Entry Level Position

Roberts Electrical Contracting Fire and Low Voltage is seeking an entry level Fire Alarm Technician. Ideal candidates must be hard working, self-motivated, organized, and able to use critical thinking to solve problems.

Qualifications:

Valid (non restricted) driver license and reliable transportation is REQUIRED

Fire Alarm Experience NOT required

Experience in a construction related field preferred but not required

Experience using hand tools and basic power tools preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Ability to work an 8.5 hour shift 5 days/week and occasional overtime as needed

Position Responsibilities/ Details:

Installation, service, and inspection of fire and security alarms and associated low voltage systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot systems equipment that require service

Collaborate and work directly with your Foreman, and team members ensure project is completed on budget, and in line with its specific goals

Arrive at job site on-time

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner

Conduct all repairs and installations according to code

Utilize safety equipment and follow all safety regulations and guidelines

Maintain a neat and organized work environment

Monitor your company email, and utilize technology such as a company iPad and smartphone

This is a jobsite position, you must have the ability to stand, lift/carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and carry tools.

Position Benefits:
