RAMADA BY WYNDHAM SACRAMENTO HOTEL now hiring for the following positions:
employment type: full-time - - Part Time
Front Desk Agent Full Time - Part Time - $16/hr
Responsibilities, skill and/or ability required Include but Not Limited to:
Book guest reservation or coordinate with reservation manager.
Attend any required training by hotel or management.
Use all safety equipment.
Follow safety procedures.
Preform all tasks as assigned by management.
Resolves minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer.
Answering all incoming phone calls in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure.
Ability to read simple instructions and memos and respond to them.
Cleans and organizes the front desk area
Computer reader boards
Date stamps, sorts, and racks incoming mail
Serves as hotel phone operator and directs all calls to proper extensions. Receives, transmits and racks telephone messages.
Handle all guest service requests. Takes room service orders and directs appropriate staff member to assemble and deliver order.
Answers guest inquiries hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
Handles stressful situations; makes mature and knowledgeable decisions.
Handles incoming guest reservations via phone and completes reservations slip.
Greets and assigns rooms to guests. Handles cash/credit, give parking information, and an overview of guest services. Issues room keys and give instructions to Bellman if available at hotel.
Requirements:
Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexible schedule is a must able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
Customer service experience in hotel service is desired
Great communication skills able to interact with customers
Computer knowledge, hotel operating system Opera preferred
Work environment standing and continuous walking
Ability to lift 25 pounds
