Committed to delivering outstanding risk-adjusted returns, they curate a diverse portfolio employing value-added strategies. Presently, they are in search of a proficient Senior Fund Accountant to join their San Francisco office, adept at excelling in a dynamic work environment.Primary Responsibilities:

Maintaining the general ledgers for both Funds and General Partnerships, encompassing tasks such as recording quarterly expenses, accruals, intercompany payables/receivables, investment transactions, and limited partner allocations.

Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.

Collaboration with the finance management team to ensure the accuracy and punctuality of audit and tax filings. This involves liaising with external service providers, conducting research on technical tax and accounting matters as necessary, and supporting both internal and external audit and tax processes.

Monitoring the cash position of designated Funds.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

A minimum of 1.5 to 4 years of experience in Accounting/Fund Accounting, or a transition directly from public Audit with exposure to investment management clients.

Willingness to consider candidates directly from public accounting firms.

Possession of a degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics.

CPA qualification or progress towards obtaining CPA certification is advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.

Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
