Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator based in Dallas, Texas. The role involves maintaining and optimizing servers, networks, cloud services, and data storage to support our business operations and growth. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, implementing disaster recovery plans, and strategically planning for future infrastructure requirements.Responsibilities: Monitor the performance of servers, networks, cloud services, and data storage systems regularly. Identify potential performance issues and implement optimization measures to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans to support business continuity during unforeseen events. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure components promptly. Utilize company ticketing platform to track all changes, improvements, and user support needs. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services. Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades while ensuring compatibility with existing software and systems. Collaborate with the IT team to develop a proactive and strategic plan for the organization's IT infrastructure. Work with the IT Security Analyst to integrate security measures into the infrastructure design and ensure adherence to best practices for safeguarding data and systems. Requirements Proficiency in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot issues. Hands-on experience with Backup Technologies; capable of ensuring data safety and recovery. Thorough understanding of Computer Hardware; able to diagnose and repair hardware issues. Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management; ability to manage system settings in an automated and scalable manner. Proficiency in Deployments, with a focus on application/software deployment. In-depth knowledge of Network Infrastructure; capable of designing, implementing, and managing networks. Hands-on experience with Switches, including configuration and management. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interfacing with different stakeholders. Relevant certification or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
