Great Dedicated job driving for "HONDA" where you will run IA, IN, IL, WI – and yes there is Chicago driving but you are paid nicely for doing that.
You will average 2100 miles or more a week with this local job but again miles don't really matter as you get a guaranteed minimum salary no matter what.

Parking: Honda part center in Davenport, IA (has a break room with vending machines that Honda shares with
our drivers) You don't take the truck home, most local jobs don't let you take the truck home so that saves you having to find a parking spot for the truck and trailer.
Freight Type: Touch freight - cages on rollers, totes, loose pieces, etc.
MONSTER SIGN ON BONUS: Sign on Bonus: $8,000 - Paid $250 pay out week 1 and 2, $1500 90 days, $2000 pay out 180, 270, and
360 days
PAY: Mileage Pay: (Don't forget you are guaranteed a minimum salary regardless of the miles you drive) $0.53 per mile but great accessorial pay of $8.24 single delay pay and $18.54 after the first 15 minutes. $.005 mileage increase every 6 months until top pay but check out the average pay below.
Guaranteed minimum salary no matter what happens with the weather, traffic, equipment issues of $1200 per week but obviously you can make a lot more than that. The average pay for drivers is around $70,000 a year or close to $1500 a week so keep that mind.
Average Annual Pay: $70,863
SIGN ON BONUS: sign on Bonus: $8,000 - Paid $250 pay out week 1 and 2, $1500 90 days, $2000 pay out 180, 270, and 360 days. (So in the first 6 months you will get $4000 extra in sign on bonus along with your regular pay, that is very sweet)
REQUIREMENTS: 6 months of Class A experience. Trailers must have been 40 foot or longer, time with trainer or school time does not count towards the 6 months.
Must be comfortable with driving at night
Drivers must be comfortable with maneuvering in downtown Chicago
The physical requirement is handling, positioning and securing delivery roller cages and lifting
loose boxed parts on the floor and overhead in trailer attic on/off trailer in/out of dealership.
Weight lift/handling range 40 -75 lbs

MUST LIVE WITHIN Within 50 Miles from Davenport IA
REQUIREMENTS: Class A CDL and at least 6 months of verifiable driving in the past three (3) years and and must have at least 6 months of flatbed experience sometime during your driving career.
Experience must have been in a Class A tractor, towing a 40' trailer(s) or longer. Must have a Class A CDL.
Fairly clean MVR and Background. (We do not hire SAP driver or recent grads please don't bother to apply)
