Room Attendant
Stock housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies and amenities
Clean the caddy and ensure that all the bottles are correctly labeled and filled
Working in a fast-paced environment to ensure rooms are properly and thoroughly cleaned within the allotted time
Obtains executive housekeeper’s signature on his/her work assignment sheet upon completion of the work duties
Vacuum carpets and floors inside and outside the room
Clean showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items; remove used guest used amenities and supplies in due out rooms only.
Record room status and time on work assignment sheet
Strip all beds in checked out room and spray bathroom chemical upon dirty surfaces
Clean and maintain public area of hotel when needed
Assist in laundry when needed
Focused attention to details, speed, and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
Work under pressure situations and exercise good judgement.
Promote and practice a positive communication within the work environment between guests, peers, and superiors,
Ability to be receptive to constructive criticism concerning job duties and performance
Perform all required hotel training (Must enroll in IHG merlin, upkeep IHG merlin Account monthly; complete all yearly IHG Merlin training that is required.)
Inspect rooms for safety hazards and for the operating conditions of equipment and supplies in due outs only.
Report lost and found articles, maintenance problems, or special room problems( i.e. pets in the room) to a supervisor
Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and responds to special guest requests i.e. delivering newspapers or cleaning a spill)
Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms
Other duties as assigned
