Line Cook Wanted
Position: Full-time/Part-time
Job Description: Kitchen 706, a busy small take-out restaurant is seeking a dedicated, versatile Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong multitasking abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Kitchen 706 recipes and standards.
-Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Take customer orders using POS system during peak hours and when necessary.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager and supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must have NYC Food Handlers License.
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to operate POS system and take customer orders accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
