Mushroom Harvesting Crew Member

Mindful Mushrooms is hiring for 1 mushroom production crew member for one day per week, on Sundays. This entry-level farm position is for someone comfortable with manual labor and repetitious, assembly-line work.
Employee will be responsible for identifying and harvesting mature mushrooms in our indoor fruiting room and neatly storing them in bins. They will remove contaminated grow blocks and uphold cleaning, maintenance, and organizational standards. They will also move myceliated grow blocks from our lab into the fruiting room, organize them onto appropriate shelves, and cut them open for fruiting. Growing mushrooms is hard work, requires much attention to detail, organization, and cleaning and sterilization practices. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and be comfortable working alone.
We are currently hiring for one shift per week every Sunday, but there is potential to acquire more shifts in the future.
