Hiring Haunt Performers for Haunted House (Sept-Nov)
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Haunt Performers for our Haunted House Experience at Nightmare on Clark St. The Haunted House experience will run from Sept 20 - Nov 3.
As a Haunt Performer, you will play a crucial role in creating an unforgettable and spine-chilling experience for our guests.
If you thrive on scaring and entertaining people, possess excellent improvisational skills, and can commit to embracing the eerie atmosphere of a haunted house, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Performers will need to arrive in costume, hair & makeup. We will not have a dressing room for you to get ready in unfortunately. Some costumes will be provided.
- Some costumes & masks will be provided. In that case, we’d ask for you to just come in all black clothing.
- Portray a diverse range of haunting characters, each with a unique backstory and scare factor.
- Engage with guests in a professional and eerie manner, delivering immersive and memorable scares.
- Utilize acting, improvisational skills, and physicality to maintain the suspense and fear throughout the attraction.
- Collaborate with fellow performers to execute synchronized scares and deliver a cohesive haunted experience.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of both guests and fellow team members.
- Attend rehearsals, training sessions, and meetings as required to enhance your performance and stay updated on haunt techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with guest inquiries and maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Must be 18+ years old.
Shifts Available:
We are hiring multiple performers per shift. Doubles are available. See shifts in listing photos.
This work will not start until September.
