Alpine Customs Inc. is hiring a Fleet Manager
A fleet manager oversees all commercial vehicles, drivers, and related assets, including there operations, conditions, external and internal policy compliance, and overall performance. Fleet managers ensure that vehicles and drivers are being utilized to their fullest potential in a safe and cost-effective manner. Besides operational concerns, fleet managers also have a role in a company’s human resources, administrative, and finance-related tasks.
Responsibilities as a fleet manager is required to perform duties and functions that are considered essential to the operations of the company, such as:
Procure vehicles, whether through lease, purchase, or other means, according to company requirements
Register, obtain licenses, and ensure the company’s vehicles
Secure vehicles, drivers (during work-related activities), and relevant assets
Partner with reputable repair and maintenance shops in favorable locations
Oversee and schedule vehicle inspection, maintenance, and servicing to minimize downtime
Ensure that drivers follow up on inspections
Securely store driver records and vehicle documents and keys
Reduce unnecessary expenses and increase fuel efficiency
Analyze fleet performance data and improve accordingly
Report fleet performance and finances to upper management
Skills that are important to the position:
- Moderate understanding of vehicles, including types of trucks, vehicle engines, and basic maintenance.
- Good time management
- Great communication skills
- Problem-solving
- Very organized and able to track many details from a variety of sources throughout the day.
- Ability to manage people (our drivers)

30- 40 + hours a week, in the Big Sky and the Gallatin Valley. We work Monday - Friday. We offer company benefits including BCBS Healthcare, 401k available after one year, and other benefits to be discussed at the interview.
Wage- $30.00 hour - DOE
Valid DL preferred, and your own transportation: vehicle knowledge and basic vehicle maintenance.
