UNIQUE POSITION JUST OPENED. This position is not always turning a wrench, you are also diagnosing and distributing the workload and managing a crew. If you are a technician that wants to use your brain and people skills more, this might be the right fit for you. Do you feel like just a number with the day in and day out? We are a family owned shop, the owner has worked at this location for 20+ years, we like to work hard but we also play hard too.

Our current Lead Technician will be extremely missed and very hard to replace. He is venturing out on his own much closer to home!

We are a fast paced, very busy, repair shop seeking to fill a permanent full-time position for an experienced Lead Automotive Technician. Extremely competitive wages. You will be called upon to service a broad range of vehicles for repair issues and to quickly diagnose the cause of performance problems.

Job Requirements:

Able to effectively manage up to three techs and provide constructive criticism.

Responsible for driving work flow of shop and ensuring things are getting done.

REQUIRED: 2+ years of shop related auto technician experience.

ASE certifications are a must.

AC certifications are a must

Strong electrical diagnosis skills.

Efficient with Pro Demand and All Data

Strong communications skills.

Must have a clean driving record, you will be road testing vehicles.

Provide your own tools!

Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently.

Able to make repairs in a timely manner.

Must be dependable, honest, knowledgeable, team player.

Looking for someone who takes pride in their work.

Be able to read and complete work repair orders.

Willingness to work.

Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle automotive systems.

Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians.

Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques.

Promote a positive work environment amongst peers.

We are known for specializing in domestic or Asian vehicles. Must know both cars and trucks.
