The sous chef helps oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation. They are responsible for accomplishing prep quality for the restaurant, requisitioning of orders, unifying and leading the BOH staff, food cost controls, cleanliness protocols and labor maintenance. In addition, the sous chef works in concert with the executive chef to create daily menu items and develop new recipes. The Sous Chef reports directly to the Executive Chef.
