Starting Pay: $18 per hour

Overview:

Join our dynamic team at a cutting-edge cloud kitchen startup in Southeast Portland. We are seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager in Training to support our rapid growth potential. This member of the leadership team will play an integral role in our operation with high potential for advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Manage multiple orders from online platforms ensuring timely preparation and delivery.

- Supervise packaging processes to maintain quality and efficiency standards.

- Assist in hiring and training kitchen staff, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.

- Support cooking operations as needed to maintain workflow and quality control.

- Maintain inventory levels and place orders for kitchen supplies.

- Uphold health and safety standards, including ensuring compliance with Multnomah County food handling regulations.

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

- Must possess a Multnomah County food handlers permit.

- Previous experience as a chef or cook is highly preferred.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and team leadership abilities.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
