Supports the Director in the identification, plan, implementation, and achievement of departmental/unit goals and objectives; quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives. Serves as a coach and mentor to all staff and successfully builds and sustains positive collaborative working relationships in a multidisciplinary team.The Nurse Manager will have oversight for the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and EP Lab which includes approximately 55 FTEs. Key areas of focus include Recruitment & Retention, service line integration, patient experience, quality & safety initiatives.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: Unity HospitalDEPARTMENT: Cardiac Cath & IRSCHEDULE: M-F Days, with flexibility needed per business needsATTRIBUTESBachelor's Degree in Nursing. Two years of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership qualities and behaviors. RN licensed in New York.RESPONSIBILITIESUnit Management. Develop programs and strategies to monitor the quality of patient care and patient outcomes; promote collaboration with medical and administrative colleagues to establish unit and daily operation goalsStaff Management. Identify staffing needs; collaborate with the Director to develop and implement recruitment plans; prepare, monitor and maintain salary and non-salary budgets; participate in professional development of staffLeadership. Demonstrated ability to influence others in both internal and external environments to promote optimal individual patient care and healthcare services to the publicEDUCATION: BS: Nursing (Required)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PAY RANGE: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
