Position: Expo (Expeditor)

Location: Campground, Arcata, CA

Availability: Weekends, Monday, and Wednesday

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Expo to join our team at our upscale steakhouse. The Expo plays a crucial role as the liaison between the front of the house and the back of the house, ensuring smooth and efficient service. This position requires a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Carrying hot plates of food from the kitchen to the dining area

- Shucking oysters for the grill

- Managing and organizing newer and older tickets to ensure timely service

- Ensure proper delivery to correct seats and tables

- Coordinating desserts and ensuring accurate delivery

- Assisting servers with any needs to enhance the dining experience

- Maintaining a clean and organized work area

- Address guest needs promptly and courteously.

Requirements:

- ServSafe Certification

- California Sexual Harassment Certificate

- Prior experience in a similar role preferred

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume service

- Physical ability to carry hot plates and be on your feet for extended periods
