Construction Foreman

Jent is now hiring a crew leader! We specialize in everything from rooms to roofs, including custom home builds. Our company operates as a close-knit team of people–including actual family members as well as trusted employees who feel like family. We're growing rapidly and we've got plenty of work!

As the foreman, you will be involved in overseeing a crew to complete various phases of our construction projects up to and including all phases from start to finish. The projects include residential and commercial and can be uniquely different so the only constant is change; you should be ready for and ok with change.

Typical duties and responsibilities;

- Assign tasks to crew members

- Supervise construction workers

- Monitor progress on the project

- Assist crew members in completing the job

- Create a team atmosphere by treating everyone with mutual trust and respect

- Monitor and correct deviations from the standard work and quality standards

- Make sure project is completed correctly

Preferred experiences includes, but is not limited to the following;

- Framing

- Siding

- Gutters

- Door/Window Installation

- Deck Builds

- Roofing

Preferred skills and qualifications;

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

- Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

- Expert knowledge of the construction industry

- Keen attention to detail

- Great communication and leadership skills
