Production Asst for a Candle Company

We are a small Home Fragrance company specializing in Candles, Diffusers, Bar Soaps, Lotions, and more. The studio is located between Dumbo and Downtown Brooklyn.

Compensation:

$20.00 + a cash bonus at the end of the year based on performance.

Employment type: Contract (Aug-early Jan)

Production Assistant Needed

Required:

-Packaging candles

-Wrapping soaps by hand

-Pouring and packaging room sprays and reed diffusers

-Labeling and cleaning of candles

-Comfortable using a glue gun and working with your hands for a long period of time

-Comfortable using a heat gun

-Keeping stock organized and easily accessible for shipping

-Receiving freight shipments of supplies from our building's loading dock

-This job will require lifting of 40+ lbs

-Assist with packing and shipping, as needed

-Proficiency with computers and technology

-Comfortable to work with others in a studio environment

HOURS:

Flexible but would need 4-5 business days a week & sometimes weekends once we get to Nov. Hoping to avoid weekends for the most part, but during Oct, Nov, Dec., they may be required to help fulfill production and/or shipments.
