Heavy/light duty diesel truck Mechanic

OVERVIEW:

Looking for a Semi Truck/Trailer and Forklift equipment mechanic. Will need to be able to efficiently diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and engine issues. Looking for someone that can change oil and service trucks and equipment. And or that is highly skilled with diagnosing and repairing broken equipment and trucks. Must keep truck clean and presentable. Must keep clean work space and take pride in doing the best you can do. Must be self driven and trust worthy. Will need to prioritize jobs, parts and organize accordingly. Will eventually need to order and pick up parts with service truck. Family owned and operated since 1964.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in Electrical, Engine and Exhaust System Diagnostics, Hydraulics, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, and Air Systems.

Experience with OEM electronic engine diagnostics is a plus (Cummins, CAT, PACCAR, International, etc. )

Must have Clean driving record.

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen

No CDL required but is a bonus

Welding and or line-boreing experience needed but not required

Great decision making and proper use of judgment is a must

Excellent communication

SCHEDULE:

8 hour shift + Overtime

Flexible Hours: 8am- 5pm

Monday- Friday

Weekend availability

On call
