Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a skilled and passionate person to lead our kitchen team at Little T's in south Minneapolis.

Pay: $27 per hour

Bonus, advancement, & raise opportunities.

Paid Sick Time, Health Insurance, Employee Meals, PTO

Length of shift 8-10 hours

40 hours per week

We put our team first because we believe we have to take care of our staff in order for them to take care of our guests. Employees here are treated like people. We have a great working environment and believe that mistakes are for learning. We do regular reviews and offer raises.

We are run a fun bar fare menu but we take our food very seriously. Running specials and being creative is encouraged.

Duties:

- Food prep

- Ordering and managing food inventory

- Managing the kitchen schedule

- Staffing and training line cooks

- Cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.

- Help with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes

Qualifications:

- Previous kitchen management experience

- ServSafe certification

- Bilingual is a big plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation

- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques

- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late night

- Good problem solving skills
