Experienced Shop Mechanic needed!

Job Type: Full Time (40hrs Guaranteed)

Pay: DOE starting at $20.00

What we do:

Father and Son Masonry Inc. offers residential and commercial new installation of high-quality structural masonry and concrete foundation services. Demo and hauling, removing and replacing (R&R), and reinforcing existing structural masonry is what we do best. We as a company take pride in our quality of work and are expected to complete every project in a timely manner and meet our high standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order.

Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems.

Install vehicle parts or accessories.

Operate forklifts, skidsteers, excavators or other moving or lifting equipment.

Order materials, supplies, or equipment.

Service vehicles to maintain functionality.

Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Maintain inventories of equipment, materials, and parts to determine appropriate inventory level.

Fabricate repair parts by utilizing machine shop instrumentation and equipment

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery or equipment when needed.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience as a Shop Mechanic

Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position

Ability to drive 6 speed manual transmission dump truck with trailer

Knowledge in mechanics, shop equipment and inventory

Able to pass pre-employment drug test and physical

Able to work in extreme valley weather conditions

Forklift certified preferred

Knowledge of Masonry & Concrete tools & equipment preferred

Valid AZ Driver’s License required. CDL is a plus.
