Job DescriptionAssociate Director of Enterprise Communication Exciting Opportunity at MSK We are seeking anAssociate Director of Enterprise Communication, who is passionate about communicating and engaging with staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering, one of the nation’s leading cancer centers. The Associate Director will be a key member of the Enterprise Communication team, helping to raise awareness of and promote MSK’s strategic imperatives and priorities, values, and expectations to our 22,000-plus employees. Role Overview:
Develop communication strategies to reach MSK’s broad, diverse employee population.
Write, edit, and oversee the distribution of a wide range of communications, including executive communications sent on behalf of MSK leadership, and shepherd communications through a multi-tiered review process.
Identify and implement creative, engaging ways to reach MSK’s diverse and far-flung workforce, including those staff members with limited digital access, about critical initiatives, priorities, and organizational goals.
Develop internal-facing content for OneMSK, MSK’s intranet, and other internal channels, and collaborate with Marketing & Communication colleagues to re-shape content for external channels where appropriate.
Serve as part of the Enterprise Communication team: Collaborate with other team members, edit articles and news items written by other members of Enterprise Communication as well as other teams, and represent Enterprise Communication on department/organization committees.
Support the Emergency Management and Hospital Administration teams with emergency communication efforts, including serving as the lead communications contact in some situations.
Use communications channels to promote MSK values, reinforce the concept of “One MSK,” and educate employees on MSK priorities and external issues that could impact their roles.
Provide internal communications perspective within larger Marketing & Communications department and across MSK.
Regularly review, evaluate, and measure the efficiency of communications efforts, and adjust strategy accordingly.
Key Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in communications, internal communications, corporate and external communications, emergency/crisis communications, employee engagement, and related fields.
Outstanding writing and editing skills: Must write with excellence, speed, discretion, and grace under pressure.
Genuine enthusiasm for the healthcare industry, cancer care, research, and education, and MSK’s mission.
Experience in complex and multi-faceted organizations with diverse, multicultural employee populations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and apps; SharePoint; Viva Engage.
Multimedia (producing, video editing, animation etc.) experience is a strong bonus.
Prior experience working in healthcare communications is a plus.

Ability to clearly present complex information in oral, written and electronic formats to groups of all sizes and areas of expertise.
