NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYMarriott International has an opening for Director, Contract Management, Global Technology. As a director, you will lead a team of contract professionals who support the Global Technology Business in developing and executing effective contracting strategies for a technology category. You will also ensure contract compliance and reporting, in alignment with legal requirements and Marriott policies.You will have the opportunity to work with various technology partners and stakeholders, and to draft, negotiate, and execute complex agreements involving hardware, software, SaaS, consulting, development, cloud computing and outsourcing services. You will also manage the entire contracting lifecycle from RFx/competitive bid process through contract negotiations, execution, dispute resolution, benchmarking analysis, and renewals and terminations. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of commercial contracts, risk management and negotiation skills to deliver optimal outcomes for Marriott.As a Director, you will also excel in people development and management, and foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within your team and across the organization. You will be part of a team that values innovation, excellence, and client satisfaction.Education and Experience Required:
10+ years of complex contract management and sourcing in technology
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/training/certification
Experience and competence negotiating technology agreements for hardware, software, ASP/SaaS, Cloud, hosting and professional services, including transactions valued at $1mm and above
Fluency with MS Office technology, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
3+ years people manager experience
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Preferred:
3+ years of complex digital contract negotiation experience

Contract Management
Manages technology contracts in accordance with Marriott standards, leading contract negotiations (both legal terms and conditions and pricing/commercial terms) and developing negotiation strategies through collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
Serves as the subject matter expert for complex technology agreements including but not limited to hardware, software, Software as a Service (SaaS), consulting, development, cloud computing and outsourcing services.
Leads RFx/competitive bid processes where needed for technology contracts in accordance with Marriott policies.
Collaborates with key stakeholder groups (including privacy, risk management, finance, security and legal) to ensure process-related activities address company needs.
Assists in contract interpretation, resolves escalated issues and facilitates dispute resolutions with providers as needed; manages negotiations for amendments, contract interpretations, new services and any other issues requiring contractual resolution.
Drives contracts and projects on business-driven timelines by motivating others.
Communicates (written, oral and presentations) effectively at all organizational levels; role will be interfacing senior technology, finance, and operations leadership. For meetings, communication should be effective both for in-person and hybrid/remote meetings and presentations.
Manages multiple complex contracts, RFPs, RFXs, etc. simultaneously while managing day-to-day contracting workload of self and direct reports.

Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $121,605 to $222,943 annually.Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550 to $245,238 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants.
