We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team.
The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet the established quality standards. This role involves inspecting and testing materials, products, and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality.
- Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Document and report inspection results, including any deviations from standards.
- Identify and report any quality issues or defects and collaborate with production teams to resolve them.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
- Train and support production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment helpful but not required.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills is crucial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards very helpful but training is possible.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment great but can be trained.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
