Job DescriptionAbout Us: As part of the Problem Management organization, the Availability Programs team is dedicated to ensuring the seamless execution of critical operational programs. By aligning stakeholder priorities, and through regularly reporting progress to senior leadership, we drive forward business-critical improvements to our cloud’s availability and reliability.Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Availability Programs team. This role is pivotal in managing and inspiring a team of professionals, focusing on employee growth and development, and driving impactful results in a fast-moving, agile environment. The Senior Manager will have a strong executive presence, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.Career Level - M3ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Availability Programs team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Attract, develop and retain a dedicated team of professionals responsible for delivering the technical aspects of a project, or supporting a production solution or service
Mentor and develop team members, focusing on professional growth, skill enhancement, and career development.
Identify and define program management goals, objectives and metrics; analyze business needs and prioritize workload for team members
Look around corners: Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
Promote a quick-moving, agile work environment, encouraging innovative solutions and adaptive strategies.
Ensure high attention to detail in all aspects of the team’s delivery. Deliver high-quality results.
Hold team and individuals accountable for results and handle performance through 1:1s, connect sessions, performance management assessments, and annual reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
6+ years of experience in management, with a focus on leading technical teams in a cloud technology or problem management environment.
Must have previous experience in managing and developing high-performing technical teamsStrong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results with a keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Good understanding of cloud technologies and experience with problem management principles.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
