Catering & Events Sales Manager

Location: Chelsea, NYC (Headquarters)

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (Based on Experience)

Commission: 2% on Inbound + 4% on Outbound Sales

We are a thriving casual hip restaurant group with three dynamic locations, headquartered in the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood of NYC. As we prepare for an exciting expansion, adding two more locations over the next 24 months, we are seeking a passionate and driven Catering & Events Sales Manager to join our team.

#### Position Overview:

The Catering & Events Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our catering and events business forward. This individual will manage all inbound requests while proactively pursuing outbound sales opportunities. We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales, specifically in the catering and restaurant industries. The ideal candidate will have a robust network of contacts and a proven track record of achieving ambitious sales goals. The goal for this role is to achieve $2M in annual sales.

#### Key Responsibilities:

- Inbound Sales Management: Handle all inbound catering and event inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless booking process.

- Outbound Sales Initiatives: Proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound sales efforts, leveraging personal contacts and industry knowledge.

- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to foster repeat business and referrals.

- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Event Coordination: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful event execution.

- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new sales opportunities.

- Reporting & Analysis: Track sales metrics, prepare regular reports, and analyze performance to optimize sales strategies.

#### Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales within the catering and restaurant industry.

- Strong outbound sales skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.

- A well-established network of industry contacts.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Enthusiastic and driven, with a passion for the hospitality industry.
