Upholstery Repair - Technician Assistant

Fibrenew Ocean State repairs leather, plastic, and vinyl on boats, cars, aircraft, furniture, and many other items. We are hiring a part time (25-30 hours/wk) Assistant Technician.

This person would work 3-4 days per week with the owner between our shop and onsite at customer locations.

Must be willing to complete all training assignments and have the ability to learn hands-on, online, and through various digital platforms.

Not required but people with experience in: upholstery repair, auto interior repair, marine interior repair, sewing, commerical cleaning, or auto detailing are encouraged to apply. If you are looking for a unique industry, with growth potential, in a growing company, we encourage you to apply.

Must have transportation to/from our shop in Warren, RI. There is a also a commission program on top of the hourly wage. Hours would generally be Monday-Wednesday 8-4 and Thursday 8-2 with some flexibilty required.
