Outreach Agent
Description Position: Outreach RepresentativeLocation: Telecommuting (Remote)Job Type: Full-TimePosition Overview: The Outreach Representative is primarily responsible for assisting with the retrieval of medical records and attestations from contracted providers and facilities to support audit processes. This role also supports various other programs based on business needs. This is a telecommuting position within a challenging, fast-paced, high-volume operation where accuracy and quality are essential.Primary Responsibilities:
Contact providers, hospitals, and/or clinical staff via phone and email to explain the program and request, set commitments for information return, and explain options for completing and transmitting information.
Develop and manage ongoing relationships with providers to reduce provider abrasion and drive program participation.
Make approximately 40 - 60 outbound calls daily and meet program-specific metrics outlined by leadership.
Perform research to locate providers, prepare data for release, and conduct follow-up.
Spend 95% of your day on phone work and 5% on research and data entry.
Respond to coaching and various forms of feedback and quality analysis to meet or exceed performance metrics.
Adhere to Protected Health Information (PHI) policies and practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with providers.
Proficient in research and data entry.
Comfortable with making outbound calls and meeting performance metrics.
Knowledge of PHI policies and practices is a plus.
