Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

GreenEarth Cleaners is looking for a Dry Cleaning and Laundry Maintenance Technician for our production facility, located in the Globeville neighborhood in Denver. The ideal candidate will be reliable and have previous experience in a Maintenance Technician (or similar) role. This position starts at $20.00/hour but is negotiable, depending on experience and skill set. We expect this position to have approximately 10-20 hours per week once fully trained.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance services on all equipment. This includes dry cleaning machines, washers, dryers, presses and conveyors.

Maintain a collection of tools and parts needed for preventative maintenance or common repairs. Work with manufacturers and/or distributors to order parts as needed.

Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.

Create and maintain logs to track maintenance and repairs as they are completed, as well as schedules for when preventative maintenance should be performed in the future.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Maintenance Technician (or similar) role is required.

Experience in dry cleaning and laundry is preferred, but NOT required. On-site training is available for this position.

General knowledge of boilers, steam piping, pneumatic presses, machinery, and HVAC is preferred.

Ability to read and understand equipment manuals

Necessary skills include organization, multi-tasking, communication, and problem solving.

Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record

Must be able to lift 75lbs
