Part Time Bakery Associate / Barista

- Greet guests warmly when they come into the bakery

- Describe products & assist customers when they are making purchases. Requires you to learn about our products and wear your sales hat!

- Take and fill orders accurately & efficiently

- Barista duties - responsible for making espresso drinks according to our recipes. We work on a manual espresso machine - La Marzocco Linea (Prior barista experience preferred, but not required)

- Various cleaning, restocking, and organizing duties around the cafe typical for this type of role

- Model best practices to more junior employees, and offer them guidance when you notice opportunities for improvement

- Assist manager with restocking inventory and completing daily inventory reports, as needed

- Check for accuracy and completeness of special orders coming in each day. Post & communicate these properly to the team.

- Starting wage is $14.25/hr, +tips

- We are open Monday-Saturday from 8am-5pm, and Sunday from 8am-2pm. We are looking for folks with daytime weekday availability AND weekend availability. Shifts may start as early as 6am and end as late as 6pm.

- This is a part-time position that may grow into a full-time role for the right candidate

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours during your shift), and lift up to 50 pounds

- Must have a positive, "can-do" attitude & willingness to work together & get along with your fellow teammates

- We sell beer and wine packaged to go at our shop.so applicants MUST be 21+. A valid BASSET valid card is required for this role. If you do not already have a valid BASSET card, we will pay for you to take the course and get your card as part of your onboarding and orientation process.
