This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday with start times ranging from 7am-8am. Hours will vary as needed. Oversee the front desk team for Check-in, Family Medicine, Ophthalmology & Optometry including a total of about 20 FTE.

Your job duties:
Responsible for day to day operations.
Responsible for oversight of the activities and functions of a department.
Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership.
Ensures effective use of system resources.
Participates in standards of practice and process improvement activities.
Participates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule.
Ensures policy and procedures are followed by staff.Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
High school diploma plus three years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment.
Knowledge of scheduling & billing systems.
Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate, train and evaluate staff.
Knowledge of healthcare business and operational practices.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) other applicable systems.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree.
Epic Experience.
Experience in staffing, scheduling, referrals, check-in & registration.
