Face coverings are available to all team members and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.POSITION SUMMARY : The Utility Worker is responsible for working in all areas of the hatchery, with the primary responsibilities being to work as chick scheduler and chick processing QA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Tracks chick flock inventories while birds are processed and schedules accordingly· Counts 10 boxes of chicks every hour per line to ensure accuracy· Assists QA with various checks· Assists in mixing and dispensing vaccines according to company guidelines.· Assists in all chick processing functions.· Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Ability to lift egg cases weighing up to 50 pounds.· Ability to push/pull 100-500 pounds.· Ability to work independently.· Ability to adapt and learn various positions and procedures.· Good math and computer skills.EOE/Vet/Disabled
