As a Senior Lead Solutions Architect, you will work as an individual contributor and bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. Contribute to and define architectural guardrails and non-functional requirements.

Conduct research to deliver reference architectures, develop proof-of-concepts.

Lead architecture efforts to pave the way for delivering solutions on time and within budget.

Deliver documentation, including class diagrams, data models, business domain models, sequence diagrams, use case models, and collaboration diagrams.

Manage the technical delivery, removing roadblocks within Agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles for mobile, web, and APIs.

Review, evaluate, and recommend tools including open-source frameworks to simplify development efforts.

Facilitate architecture decisions and enforce Enterprise Architecture standards and principles for web, mobile and APIs.

How you will collaborate with others:

Work with product and creative to define, document, and communicate the solution architecture and approach for new products and features.

Establish extensive visibility and form relationships within technology and business to ensure multi-functional alignment providing clear direction to the product teams.

Experience working across capabilities and applications to ensure solutions are holistic and consistent.

Lead, mentor, and interview engineers and architects to continually increase the productivity of the teams, and to evolve and grow the engineering teams.

Communicate and present architectural solutions and concepts to non-technical team members and leadership.

What projects you will take ownership of:

Customer website (ex. shop, reservations), digital payments, marketing technology, inventory, authentication, search and mapping/geo-based technologies.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FITYou have these minimum qualifications:

Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field

Five (5) years of specialized experience in software development

Travel up to 25%, as needed

It would be useful if you have:

Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience

Ten (10) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field

Seven (7) years of specialized experience in software development

Large e-commerce product team and digital delivery experience in both Web and Mobile platforms

Technical proficiency with the following or similar technologies: Atlassian Stack, GitLab, Tomcat/Apache, Structured Query Language, Edge (Akamai), and Cloud (AWS) technologies

Hands-on experience in mobile & web application development and/or architecture, specifically with customer-facing web, mobile, and API Technologies such as React/React Native, iOS/Swift, Android/Java/Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Express, Node.js
