Host Staff Needed for Busy Westside Restaurant

The Rose Venice - the Venice landmark with Chef Ray Garcia at the helm- is looking for an experienced host/reservationist to join our team of hospitality professionals. We are a high volume, busy operation, so candidates with track records in upscale or high-volume establishments will be preferred, and experience with OpenTable is a bonus. Duties & Responsibilities:

You are the face of the restaurant and first point of contact for visiting guests, their first impression starts with you. Attention to detail is A MUST.

Be comfortable with a 220+ seat dining experience and handle various types of reservations for the restaurant through Open Table.

Receive and route HIGH VOLUME phone calls and guest inquiries.

Please be sharp and feel comfortable working under pressure while maintaining professionalism & a positive personality.

Be able to understand and work with multiple seating charts and floor plans.

Qualifications:

Restaurant Customer Service experience preferred; Hospitality driven and detail oriented a MUST.

Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a strong, positive attitude at all times.

Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English with a large team and in close communication with management.

Have a working knowledge of all menus, company details and policies.
